Triangle pattern name help

Post by Chrissy1 » Mon Apr 20, 2009 1:44 am

We went to a birthday party for our friends darling daughter that turned 2. Mary made her first quilt ever for her daughter and it is WONDERFUL. It was so busy with a bunch of little 2 year olds and under that I never got to ask her the name of the pattern. It was 4 large triangles that met in the middle. Two were very soft colorful pinks and the other two were more plain. Looked like approximately a 10" block when done. the blocks were joined together without sashing. It was tied and she and her mother in law did an amazing job on it. The back was so beautiful. It is tied and just amazingly done. I thought this "might" be an easy pattern for me to attempt for a young girl, single mom, waitress at the diner we go to all the time. She is only 18. Thanks for any advise on the name of this pattern.
