Rootyr, it's easier to keep track of if you send them all in. That way I won't have to remember who sent them all and who didn't. I have a small pea sized brain and it doesn't take much to rattle it! LOL! You have your's done already? WOW!

I am so excited, i have 14 blocks done, just 14 to go. so i may be mailing a bit ahead of time, a new phenomenon for me, i'm usually pushing the deadline. this was a fun block to make.

I have been having fun making these cute blocks, mixing up colors and prints! It's putting a huge dent in my 4th of July style fabrics...I'll just have to go replenish the stash at some point...oh agony....HA HA HA!

I think I have only 9 or 10 more to do. Easy pattern, once I got the hang of it; I think it would be very versatile for other color schemes as well.

Oh, CaroleJ, so sorry for your agony-----LOL, i know the feeling........yes, this is a fun block to work with. i had to go for some shelf paper yesterday, and while i was in the store (an old-fashioned 5 and 10 cent store, of course not those prices, but the same concept), i was drawn to the little fabric island. they don't have a lot of fabric, but it's often different and very nice. sssssoooo, there were 2 pieces with my name on it, when I promised myself no fabric. then i realized they were just perfect for the 2nd 14 blocks, well, i ask, could i say no, of course not!

aren't quilters just the best rationalizers!!!!!!!!

You girls are doing good! Yes, we quilters have a hard time with our hoardes. It's just like being on a diet....you have to keep it balance!

I'll be watching for the blocks Debby.

I haven't started my blocks yet, just wondering how many fabrics per block are you all using? I don't get how you could use only 4. That's what I have and was going to work on them today but when I sat down to figure out my 4 colors didn't know where to put them? Does this make sense? Maybe I should just go buy 4 more fabrics?

Sharon if you have just 4 fabrics then you could just put them opposite of each other. Do the top as red & blue and then do the bottom two as blue and red. That way you do not have to go out and buy 4 more fabrics unless you just want too.
