I gave your envelope to the mail man this morning, sent it priority mail so you should have it in a few days. Hoepfully this will be in enough time. I see others have already sent and you received from them.

gramajojo, thank you so much. I'll let you know when it arrives. There is plenty of time. As long as I get things by May 12, that's plenty time to get the basket made up and get it to Bonnie to meet her deadline. hugs, carol/kittyquilt

Carol, I lied. Well not totally. I did give the envelope to the mail man on Monday morning. Then later in the day, he came back with the envelope and said "do you know how much this weighs?" and I told him it was 1 pound, 10.5 ounces and he said he couldn't take it because it was over 13 ounces and that I would have to take it into the post office myself. Geeze, so it really didn't get to the post office until yesterday afternoon, when I snuck out of work early so I could get it there before the post office closed. The envelope looks a little worse for wear, but the post office website said you could put as much into the envelope as you could get in there for "one low discount price" so I did. So, it will be a couple more days until you get it. Hope it fits in with your theme.

Gramajojo, thank you so much for the wonderful things you sent for the basket: craft cinnamon sticks, pins, marking pencil and pen, post-it pads, marking kit,and the great quilting magazines--all a welcome addition to the quilting basket for the auction. Everything is much appreciated. blessings and hugs to you, carol/kittyquilt
