I like using the cotton batting. I don"t think I put enough ties on . I think you are suppose to put them closed together. Anybody know for sure. I just pick a point and try to follow it throughout the quilt.

Nice choice of fabrics and colors for the old fashioned look. Very dainty looking also for your GD.

That is a beautiful quilt. I don't blame your granddaughter for wanting it. The colors are spectacular.

What a beautiful quilt. Batting package should tell you how close to quilt or tie. It could shift if it is washed without enough ties. I have never used cotton batting.

Sidesaddles, if you used the Warm and Natural cotton batting, the instructions say you can leave up to 8-10 inches UNquilted.

The advantage to tying quilts is that you can add more, even if the quilt is bound and finished...just be careful to lay it out smoothly first.

Sure is a pretty quilt, all those soft colors...hope your DD likes it!

Okay, this is the one you can send to me. It is the tops. Congratulations on all your quilts and the beautiful work you have done on all of them.

I love it all. The fabric and pattern were made for each other.
