OMG Karlene, that is a gorgeous quilt. My word!!!! What size are those HST's? Great pattern - did you design it? Great colors, too.

Thank you all so much. The HST's were from 3" squares cut in half. The border around them is actually lace fabric from drapery material appliqued on to a light solid pink. The floral designs at the ends are from 2 different Pam Bono patterns that I put together. The green for the leaves was from fabric for a matching mother/daughter pinifore dress that I bought when my oldest was 3. I made her dress, but thought better of making mine. She just turned 20! It was fun to use that fabric and think back to that cute little blond girl and see what a beautiful young women she's become. Of coursed, she wouldn't be caught dead in any feminine fabric now. That's okay, I made a lot of little girlie-girl dresses for both my daughters, and even though they wouldn't be caught dead in them now, they sure looked cute and I have the pictures!

Beautiful quilt. I agree that the colors look so springish. You sure put a lot of work in it and you should be very proud of it.

What a beautiful quilt. Your story about the green fabric is charming! How large is the quilt, it looks king size?

I actually didn't even measure it since I never put on borders. I did use a flat king size sheet for the backing and it was just big enough by less than a 1/2" on each end towards the corners.
