My sewing helpers.....

Post by Itchn2Bstitchn » Sun Mar 15, 2009 8:07 am

I took my latest project to MIL's to work with her machine and it's special stitches. My grandchildren Charlie and Alysa wanted to "help Grammie!" I will cherish these forever.

Love the look on his face! I showed him that the needle was sharp and don't put your finger under there and he made this face afterward.

Then, it was Alysa's turn.....I think she's going to be a natural!

Everyone please, give your grandkids a big hug and squeeze. They don't stay this little for long!

Keep stitchn,
Jan

Man! I put this in the wrong place! It should've been under chit-chat....sorry folks.

I agree that we must enjoy while they are little as they definitely do grow up way too fast!! I enjoy all the time spent doing all the little things with the grandchildren!!!
This does seem to be the place for photos, so excellent posting choice!!

I love the face Charlie made....priceless! And, Alysa looks like she's enjoying sitting on gramma's lap and sewing like a big girl. Nice to kinda see you, too! @:)

Your grandkids are precious! I agree we must cherish them. I wouldn't take a million bucks for my 5 year old grandson. He's the best.

I have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, my middle grandson since he was about 6 months would set on my lap or his mothers lap while we would sew, he is 2 1/2 and he still loves to set on my lap while I sew.

They are precious. My little 5 month old grandson, Cooper has been staying with me since sunday, dd and sil are moving (closer to me yea!) I'm tempted to keep him! lol I can't imagine Cooper ever being as big as your grandchildren. You're so right about how fast they grow up.
