Thank you all! I see that the pictures have magically righted themselves! Thank you if someone was able to do that:-) And, yes, the first time my DH used it for his after-work nap on the couch he told me all about how warm and comfy it is...LOL!

The sheet is the white squares. It was a flannel sheet that my MIL bought him when he was stationed in Belgium and missing home. It has a camping/Nat'l Park type of motif on it. I have a ton of it left still! You are right about the flannel being pricey. I also ended up using different types of flannel. There are a couple of shirtings and some quilting and I also accidentally bought a chamois but decided to use it anyway since I didn't know what else I would use it for.

I love you fabric choices. Nothing than making a quilt and having someone use it and like it. That is one quilt I haven't done yet, I seen them done in denim and flannel can you use regular cotton also?
