There were several 'extra' blocks and other things, we are going to make totes with some of them to go with the quilts. Any left overs will be ready for other 'angel' projects down the line.

Your response was unbelievable and overwhelming, I cannot thank you all enough! God bless YOU!

From all the wonderful packages, a total of 5 quilts will be going to Brandy and Evelyn's house on Tuesday. Two for Evelyn, One for Brandy and Ken, one each for Evelyn's twin brother and older sister and one for grandma Sheila who has been Brandy's 'rock', providing transportation and support at home. The tops were sent and one complete quilt and I felt this was 'the right thing' to do.

There is a stack of cards piled high on my table to go with them.

If all goes well, there will be pictures of the family and the quilts to post next week.

I think it would be nice if we made them a couple of comfort quilts. At least one for Evelyn, who is spending much too much time in the hospital, away from her sister and twin brother.

If you would like to participate, please PM me for my address. I am hoping to do them with any variation of a 9-patch block, 12.5 in unfinished.

I will put them together and my DD1 (SuZQ) will help me finish them.

Evelyn likes butterflys, and bright colors. Brandy would like something in quiet, soothing colors.
