March Secret Pals - Officially Closed

What a wonderful day! I spent all day running around the western part of KY with 3 good friends. We shopped for fabrics at 3 different places, ate a wonderful place called Patti's 1840 homeplace (or something like that we always just call it Patti's ) and went to Adsmore House at Princeton, KY. A very fun day with beautiful weather. Then when I get home I have 3 pkgs. in the mail!!! 2 e-bay pkgs. and my wonderful pkg. from Evie!

As I'm typing I'm munching on the delicious triple chocolate M&M's. Yummm! There was also 10, yes 10 beautiful fat quarters, a very nice quilting magazine, a very cute charm of a pin cushion, a measuring guage, some neat self stick markers (how did you know I used the last of mine last week?)and a pattern that will make a hat, 3 different totes and a cell phone carryall. There was also 2 postcards (which I love to get) from Mo. The deer gone hunting was so cute! And Evie....you can send all the beautiful weather this way that you want too. It has been so nice today! What a great day - I came home from work to find I had received a package from bethstreet. I was wonderful. I have a nice package of RJR fabrics "A beautiful time" collection can't wait to put these into something. I also got a nice pattern and the cut pieces to make an Easter table runner. How did you know I needed a nail file...maybe my typing skills at times was the hint. LOL The Pocket Patterns with templates is a very neat item I can't wait to use that. I also have now received a second quilters charm - I told my husband he better start looking for a braclet to put these on. Your letter was very nice and your daughter and grandaughter are just so adorable. Thank you so much for the wonderful package you were a GREAT secert pal.

Guess what I got today...yep my sp package. Thank you soooo much Insticheswithrosie (Rosie). I was so excited to open it. I received a wonderful card which I really enjoyed. I enjoyed hearing about you. I also received some St. Patricks day fabric along with my absolute favorite purple fabric. I would have bought that myself had I seen it. Totally my taste. I also got some m&m's which I hid from the kids. lol I very cool calculator that is in the shape of the sun, post its, page markers (which I really needed)and a notebook with pen, and some St. Patricks Day socks which are soooo cute. Thank you again I loved it all and I could not have asked for anything better!!!!! In your note you said you wanted to know a little about me so I will pm you and give you the low down. Thank you thank you Katie Koala How fun it was to receive a secret pal package from Australia!! I love the fabrics you sent along with the quilt pattern, it looks like one I will get lots of use out of I like to do embroidery( did my first tea towel embroidery when I was 5) as well as my new quilting hobby and since this is a combination of both WOW.. and yes the bird on the card was cute!!

I checked my confrimation delivery and it said my gift had been delivered on the 26th. I haven't heard from my secret pal yet whether or not she received it. Hope she is doing alright.
