I have made a lot of baby quilts and given them all away. I just finished the one I am keeping for me, a twin size from the blocks I recieved fromthe birthday block swap. They are beautiful blocks, there is NO WAY I am giving that one away!

Now to start big quilts for the grandkids now that they are grown.

Have given most of mine away. Have a small one that I made at Alex Anderson's quilt retreat in 2oo4, Pumpkin rag quilt, F&P pattern I think in 2005 or 06 and the current one I have a finished top I will have LA quilted and I have El's delectable mountains in process I am quilting myself and want to hang in my living room. (Have only been working on that for about 3 years....LOL)

I give most of them away, but always keep swap blocks for myself. I'm not about to give them away.

Have given them all away, but I have a couple I am going to make for me, one of these days.

I give away quilts...last year, I finished a wall quilt of a house on a hill that will go in a place of honor in our new house...once it's done (tap, tap, tap....) The coffee mug of the month quilt is for us, as well. But pretty much all my other projects are for other people.

Have been working on a comforter cover for myself and DH for ages, but I don't know that it will wind up on our bed or somewhere else in the house once we move. The top is basically done, but I have been thinking I will just make it a quilt instead of a comforter cover....can't decide! LOL

I still have the one and only quilt I've ever made--over 20 years ago when I took my first quilting class, a "start to finish" class using Eleanor Burns' stripping technique. I took another class right after that and made a heart wall hanging. A long absence from the sewing machine, then about 5 years ago I started again. Have made several tops, given some away and still want to finish some. Much time has been used making blocks to be given away and other items that I've donated.

I'm hoping to finish the UGRR quilt from the sew along for us--DH does like someone else mentioned, will any of those stay with us?

one day.

I have the first quilt I ever made, a Log Cabin made with QIAD book. I made my mother a quilt with double friendship stars that I received back when she passed away. We have a Double Irish Chain (another QIAD) that I made for my husband for our 7th wedding anniversary and then this one (this one is MINE):

Also each of my children living home has at least one quilt I have made them. So we have a LOT of quilts that I have made here. Soon to have one more when Emily's Shakespeare in the Park comes back from the hand quilter.

I have 3 tshirt quilts that I made with all my softball tshirts. And I will have more because I still have plenty more tshirts to quilt.

I have the very first quilt I ever made and it's still on our bed under the comforter. It's a king size Rail Fence and I quilted it on my sewing machine - and said never again - LOL. I made a string quilt (queen) for the RV. I made my DH a flag quilt to use for naps and I have my Desert Beauty (batik) quilt for my naps. All others I have given away.

I only have my first attempt at doing a quilt about 15 years ago. Never received one and all my others have found homes.
