Carol/Grandma2Davey pretty block! It looks so crisp and "springy" (is that a word? lol!)

Thank you, ladies! The fabric I am using is a bundle that I received for my birthday. DH & my kids are well trained, lol. "Springy" has to be a word because I use it all the time!

I enjoy looking at everyone's blocks! :-)

So far, I've been able to make 2 blocks, the bunny and the blue bird. Still 5 blocks to make to catch up!

Denise, how lovely!! They are such "happy" blocks!! I can't remember, do you do your blanket stitch by hand??? I thought you did, but I'm not really sure...
GrandmaTaz don't feel bad!! I only have the bunny done!! lol! But I'll get going!!
I think I'm having a hard time with these directions for these blocks..for some reason, they look "greek" to me...
But, I will perserveer (boy, how's THAT for spelling! lol!)

Jeanne, Carol & Joanne, thanks for your compliments! :-)

Jeanne, I agree with Joanne, don't feel bad, I only have 2 blocks made on 7. That's what I love about sew-a-long, we make the blocks when we can. :-)

Joanne, yes I do blanket stitch, all embroidery stitches by hand. :-)

I agree no one should feel bad... this is supposed to be a sew along you do in your own time... no rush! Just enjoy new techniques and ideas from our pals... for goodness sakes I only have 2 blocks done and I am the hostess!!! LOL I already packed up all my fabrics so I won't be actually sewing any more of my blocks till we get moved and settled... that will give you guys time to get way past me!

Hugs!
-Alina-

*I will keep posting the new blocks on schedule... they are already loaded on the computer and in my blog database... so no worries they will keep coming! :);
