Just wanted to pop my head in and say HELLO from Alaska...long time no see. I needed color advice on a quilt for the MIL so I posted in the advice section...I'm writing this w/ number 6 whaling on my lap, so I should go. I'll try to check in tomorrow, just wanted to start the thread for fun. I'll be sewing tomorrow even if I don't get back on here. ttfn, Anna

Hi Anna nice to here from you well it's off to work I go today when I come home it's doing some wash and then maybe some sewing I started makeing baby shower gifts for my niece just want to be a little ahead of the game instead of sewing the day before the shower I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Everyone!
DH got up very early this morning to catch a plane for a business trip. I couldn't sleep any longer without eating so I thought I would pop on here. Later today I will be cutting the fabric and sewing the borders for the Birds In The Air Quilt. I really want to get the top done.

today the barn bom video should be up... and a new UGRR block should be posted... so I will get to have a busy weekend....

Chriss - New UGRR block isn't being posted until this weekend! You got lots of time yet. We are waiting for the last few to finish up #5.

Going to work today but might cut out my mystery 9 patch before I leave.

Praying for Carol's safe surgery. Too bad it was so close to her birthday! Maybe she will be feeling better by then. I am thinking it is a small incision (I hope for her sake).

Prayers for Carol...today is WW weigh in for me....I have a few errands to do...then I will watch El's video if it is up and make my block. I have been looking for unique ideas for it but I haven't come up with anything. I finished block one of the Now and Forever quilt I started. These BOMs could be addicting. Im digging through my stash for fabric for a third one....If I keep this up I will have all these UFOs in December...I will have to finish....bbl

I'm up. Very tired, DS1 had a bad night last night. DS2 topped it off by fussing at 0430 this morning. Ugh. My coffee pot takes too long.

I just got the chance to check yesterday's thread. I won't tell DH that ya'll were encouraging me to start another project, if you won't tell him I'm seriously thinking about it!:) I'm doing 4 patches for an Old Tobacco Road quilt as leaders/enders right now, half of them are green and the other half purple. I've finished the green ones, just have to do the purple ones now. I may start the crumbs when I finish those. I really want to do the Tobacco Road quilt, but I promised DH I'd finish his quilt first. Have to finish quilting the baby's quilt, then I can put borders on his and put it on the frame. I think my coffee is done...BBL
