Quilt for Daughter #2

Post by moma_lolaham » Fri Feb 13, 2009 5:19 am

This is a quilt that just finished for my youngest daughter. About a year and half ago I made a quilt for oldest daughter. Youngest one wanted one too. I started working on it in late 2007 and now finally it's finished. It's made with different blocks that she chose. I messed up a little toward bottom. 2nd pic is the back with the label that I made for it. I am not a pro, but I think the quilt will serve the purpose. Thanks for taking a look.

Thanks. Yes she kind of chose the colors. She likes pinks and blues so I used a lot of those colors.

Isn't it fun making sampler blocks? I get bored making the same block over and over and over again, but a few I can manage. I've been quilting for a ton of years and do not consider myself a pro, but I have learned a lot just by reading and asking questions. Very colorful and nice quilt. I'm sure your daughter will treasure it.

Your daughter must be thrilled with her quilt! Like Sharon, I really like "sampler" quilts..I tend to get bored making the same block over and over. Your quilt will sure to be enjoyed and treasured for years to come!
