Thank you all for your supportive comments. My SIL has been diagnosed with end stage liver disease and has been put on a transplant list. I know the quilt and your prayers will bring her comfort in the coming days. Thank you again.

PS, what looks like a black inner border is actually burgandy, that matches the center of each block and the binding. Wish cameras took better true color pictures!

Linda, your quilt is beautiful. Isn't it funny how we will buy something & not know why. That's how it was when I bought a charm pack. I got it home & said "Why". Then when my aunt was dx. with breast cancer & I made it up with the green sashing and she loved it. She told me it was all in "her colors".
I know your SIL will get great comfort from your quilt.
