Oh, Caroline - that is PERFECT!! I do not have any quilts in the bathroom - but now I will think about it. The border in our bathroom is birdhouses - hmmmmm!

I think it is beautiful. Also, it is your house, it matches the border, why not put it there? I have seen several mag. that have put quilts all over houses, why not there? You could make a shower curtain (have a separate plastic liner for inside) and use the same butterflies to put on it and continue the theme for the room. I found a lovely print of tropical fish, and the ocean floor, and then proceeded to sew up a shower curtain to give privacy to the stall. Then I used the pictures of the fish and coral reef, and painted them on the walls to match. I have an art degree, I love to do murals.
I love butterflies, and have been looking for a good image, hope you don't mind if I look and copy yours to use? Thanks.

Just stunning! I have a friend in Rapid City, SD who loves butterflys as much as I do, I need to write to her, or call her and tell her to get on this forum. When I was a child growing up in Sacramento, my parents would take my brother, and myself,to Monterey/Carmel. We would stay in an inn near 17 Mile Drive and watch the butterfies. Didn't do it every year, both remember the many years that we did.
