Joanne, the ugly is the pink fabtic with red, white, blue flowers that is on the left side of the heart and is dominant in the border. The pattern is from El's book It's ELementary. I think it is very pretty and I have some scraps left over so you never know what might become of those. Mary might end up with something else along the way too. I have a couple of ideas floating in my head still.

wow, great wall hanging.... amazing how our fabric isn't as ugly as it once was...
Since we are waiting on Carolyn and Donna and Rosie I think we should leave this open one more week till pictures are posted then we can put this swap to rest....
thanks girls, for making my first hostessing job an easy one....

Mary, you are one lucky gal. That wall hanging is beautiful! I always love hearts and anything log cabin. That border really sets it off.
Isn't it fun seeing how our formerly ugly ducklings turned into such beauties!

Donna would like to say she has been out of town, but it's more like her brain has been 'out to lunch' (while sewing on piggies and not getting online for several days).
Just as I was finishing Carolyn's piggie project, I got a squishy envelope full of goodies that had hidden 'boxer' fabric! She made a tote bag for groceries (or fabric!) that has Sunbonnet Sue on one side and her (SBS's) boyfriend on the other side (is it Sunbonnet Sam or Overall Sam?), a coin purse (with coins!), and my name in fabric letters (very cool!). I'll post a picture a little later.
Meanwhile, I finished Carolyn's piggies, missed the post office on Friday, and decided to make one more little thing on Saturday with leftover piggies, and missed the post office that day, too. So I'm headed to the PO in just a little bit with a package of piggies.....

oh the piggies were probably the most challenging fabric in this swap
Donna I have a photo of the tote (complete with Sam in his boxers holding his jeans) but not of the other little goodies. I think I need to make myself one of the coin purses for fabric money...
I have no idea what you will do with your name in fabric maybe a bookmark? a giant name tag?
