Hi! I'm here!
We had fun today at lunch and the sewing expo...I sure didn't leave empty handed! But then the weather started changing and I ended up with a migraine and had to nap. Fabric shopping and napping...poor me...lol!

I bought something for the elephant box, so I hope it gets to me soon...Marilynsgrammy, you aren't allowed to buy anything QIAD until after the elephant...

It seems lots of people have had to nap today...something in the air?

MaryEllen, at frist I thought you were traveling 5 blocks to bed...you are really getting a lot done.... hope you also rest and don't over do....take care of yourself

Judi, I was thinking of Iowagal yesterday... we also haven't heard from SFOquilter.... hopefully they will all be back soon.

Mommyq... you do have a rough life... shopping and napping... oh poor you....lol...now about this elephant thing... are you telling me I can't shop till it gets here? I just thought of another thing I have to put in the box.... Right now I have a full box of stuff... yes the 12x12 box.... so you could send me a box of air and I could re-fill it.....lol...I love surprises but am curious especially after Judi told you to PM her the other day.... that Judi is a stinker sometimes....lol...gotta watch her....lol....

I think I will hit the shower and then sit with a book... I will check in later....warning....

hi all..I have been working on my schoolhouses for Alina's swap and reading a book. My H brought me home a book by one of my favorite authors (Elizabeth George) from the University library. I told myself I needed to work on the blocks then I could take a reading break. I am so enjoying today. the rainy weather is snuggly weather perfect for reading.

Q7 I am excited to hear Earlene Fowler again too. We will have a nice time on the 15th of March...won't we? Anyone else want to join us the quilt store is in Garden Grove right off of the 22 fwy. Lori (zfatcat) Carol (Q7) and I went the last time Earlene spoke there and had a great day. I am sure all 3 of of will be ther on the 15th (Carol and I have confirmed)

Iowagal is hostess on the Valentine Secret Pal, and I'm sure that Miss Peach is up to her eyeballs on that heart comfort quilt for...my brain is mush! Anyway, she's been doing alot of stuff for charity. But I miss seeing the posts from them, too. Has "T" posted since her tests??

We had my DGS all day and took them to dinner tonight..he was a hoot! We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks this afternoon...I got really into watching it while DH and DGS layed around on the couch and aggravated each other and giggled! lol! Such kids!

Tomorrow I WILL SEW!!

Chriss - I didn't go shopping. I stayed home and sewed. Kenderosa went to Bonnie Blue and got a ton of fabric which I think she should take a picture of and show us!

Tried to take a nap but a movie was on the Hallmark channel and I watched it and never went to sleep. Then I made a chicken enchilada casserole (yum yum) with mexican rice and refried beans. After we ate DH wanted me to watch "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" with him so that's what I've been doing all evening. I'm too tired to go to my sewing room. I'll never finish that quilt!!!

I hope they didn't look at T's MRI and slap her in the hospital. I miss the missing ones, too.

Family is just leaving, I haven't managed to sew yet today I made BBQ ribs in the crockpot so I don't have a lot to do to make dinner.
I am going to try to sew some lets see if that happens/
