Well - I made it back home! Sounds like you all have been busy. JW - glad your eye was spared - wow!

Ended up having lunch with my dear friend, then watching the eagles. Then found out that my Bernina was done being cleaned and serviced so we decided to go pick it up (30 miles south, LOL). Well it just so happened that we kinda/sorta had to go by DD's house so we popped in to see her and Lucas - oh darn, LOL. Then we went to Hancocks, got the Bernina, she bought fabric to recover a chair in her sewing room, then to the store to pick up wings and sauce for tomorrow then OH RATS - had to swing right thru Baskin Robbins to get back to the highway, LOL.

Stopped back in to see DD and Lucas and then finally made it home. Rocky enjoyed riding along and is glad to be on Mommy's lap now.

DH called and said it could actually be up to another 3 weeks before he can come home. I doubt if it actually lasts that long be that's what we have to consider. If so - then I'll be sending more of his meds along with somebody making a med run for the guys. I don't mind up to a week but after that - this house gets pretty empty...

Oh well - got sewing to do, DS and DIL felt sorry for me and are coming up to watch the Super Bowl tomorrow and the good Lord is in control - all is good! :)

Well Sandy if you are getting on HSN they are sold out so you will have to wait LOL. Maybe by then you will forget about it. I didn't though. It was on about 2-3 months ago and I didn't get it and they sold out and I didn't forget about it so now I am getting one. It wasn't about to get by me again. No Way.

I have figured out what to do about a sewing machine table. I have a large heavy cabinet in the garage that my neighbors were getting rid of a while back but I told them I would like to have it. It is 4 ft tall and 25 inches wide and deep. I took the doors off and am going to lay it on it's side long ways. I had paint so it is getting painted now. There is a 2 inch indent on the bottom that had to come off so that I could slide under the table with my chair so I bought a jigsaw and cut that out tonight. Boy that was empowering. It felt so good to do it by myself. I also got some shelving to put in it but it is too long so I will go get another one tomorrow and take this one back and I also got 6 bricks for a base for the table just in case I feel that it is too low. I bought some paints from Joann's to paint some sort of design on it when it is finished.

This thing is so heavy and it is plenty long enough to hold my laptop and the sewing machine. It feels good to be a woman LOL.

Hi to all who are still here. We did errands for most of the day. I needed (really) to visit 2 LQS for specific things. Then we went for an early dinner. I needed ONE thing from Sam's so we stopped by there. Of course, bought a lot more, but this is stuff I won't have to buy again for quite a while. I didn't even know you could buy fabric softener in that size.

Intend to go sew for a bit. Notice I am always sewing, but never seem to finish anything. I do have a lovely collection of tops.

Tomorrow DH is taking me to breakfast, then will run to Kroger for the few items I still need. Will make a batch of chili to have during the ballgame. He is even going to watch the game - for the commercials. I swear I have a male gene somewhere. Love sports, won't ask for directions, like my meat rare. Oh well, he loves me anyway.

Probably won't be back until tomorrow.

Brenda - I found a factory refurbished one on Ebay for $650, there were several. any idea how long it will take to get yours?? I would almost like to wait and see how well you like it. I want to make sure I making the right choice because it would be a long time before I get another.

Sandy I just checked and mine is now being shipped out so I should have it this week. I need to change the delivery address on it though since I will be at work. I am going to have it shipped there. In the meantime I am getting my sewing table ready for it.

I know sorry I just can't help it. I can't wait to get my table done for it. It is in the garage and I am going to get the second coat on it tonight. I think I will paint some sewing notions on the table to dress it up some and of course I will have to post a picture of it.
