OK, it's been 40 yrs. since I had a kid in diapers. Heck, I thought I'd send him to college and maybe have to show his wife how to change.

They do when they do. I know a woman who works in another school system who has had parents of kindergarders who haven't even tried.
They said is was the school's job. NOT

Sandy and Alina, I really liked Grisham, but Fishburne is such a good actor I think it will work out.

Don't believe I managed to lose my keys somewhere in the snow between my car and DH's. That's another expense. Oh, joy. Will check in daylight. Very frustrating.

Still don't know if I'm working tomorrow. I know the side streets are still a mess.

I'm rattling, must need something sweet to keep me busy.

Good evening all. Well I bought the Singer Futura 250 off of HSN tonight. I couldn't help it. It just happened and now I will have an embroidery machine LOL.

Being a geese-a-phobic I found a flying geese block with only one seam I have made one sample block but not a whole quilt.
ME hope and pray for you to be fine after surgery....

Hey all!

I swear I need to go back to school just to help the kids with math homework. Like I ever use any of this crud in my life.

Girls, when y'all finally get around to trying the flying geese rulers you are gonna be kicking yourself because you didn't do them sooner. Trust me - they are a piece of cake! Just get in there with scrap fabric and try one. You will be so pleased.

:)

I know some time last year even *I* tried to make geeses, and if memmory serves me well, once I made one, I set out to make a whole row of them. That's how easy they go together. I still have that row pinned on my 'design' wall somewhere.

ME lol I hear ya about having a decent and sweet hubby which you sometimes would Love to kick him for not paying attention where you would WANT them to pay attention. Jeff too some times can be a troll like that.

Well, I better go eat dinner.

See y'all tomorrow. (maybe)

I haven't made anything with flying geese yet and it will be a while, I have a four quilt backup at the moment. Five if you count the Christmas charm wall hanging.

I just won 100 4" I spy charms on ebay for $8.50. I haven't figured out if that is a good price but it sounded good. So that actually makes 6 quilts. Good Grief I should quit chatting and get busy.....

grammie - I knew you weren't really on a hockey team, just couldn't resist ;-)

Brenda - I would love to have an embroidery machine, just not sure I would get enough use out of it to justify. Would be nice if you could combine it with a sewing machine, but then I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway LOL

T - Wish I could send of our rain your direction

It is also a sewing machine. You plug in your computer to it and then you can make it into an embroidery machine. I don't know exactly how it will work but I am looking forward to practicing on it. At Joann's they sell the Singer feet so I will be able to purchase extra feet I may want from there and get my discount also so that will be good.
