I was just looking at this post again and I really like how sometimes it looks like stars and sometimes it looks like X's. The pattern is a very nice optical illusion to my eye anyway. Well done!

I keep seeing x's on the quilt also instead of always the stars. And for the time I had it hanging on the wall every time I looked at it I saw the white boxes floating in front of the quilt. I thought it was because I was tired. I am glad someone else see the boxes. strange thing is that the white boxes come when you sew the blocks together.
