Re: Tabletopper for my sister----from Inka
Linda,
Inka is my nickname (my parents used to call me that way). My real first name is Jindřiška (can you see INKA it it?) which apparently is not an English name. Even if my grandfather was a German, I am Czech -living in the Czech Republic, in the middle of Europe. I am an English teacher and discovered quilting only about three years ago - and, like all of you on this forum, I have become addicted since!
I have a small new Pfaff machine and not very much time to make large quilts. But I keep learning new techniques going to courses and studying information on the internet. I have a wonderful sewing friend Calicopuzzle who is so kind as to post my pictures!I do not come here very often but I keep popping in and enjoying your work. Even if I do not know you (like many of you do know each other), it feels nice to participate in this "virtual" community and share our common love - quilting!

Caroline and all - thank you for your warm words! In fact they are an INCENTIVE to go on! Wow, isn´t it a blessing we all here have got - the ability to get ENTHUSIASTIC over something and do one´s best to become better and better at it ...
