Double Pinwheel with all prints????

Has anyone made or seen Eleanor's Double Pinwheel done with no solids?

I havn't, but I don't see why you couldn't use all prints as long as there was contrast in the values.

I just finished piecing one that was in my ufo box. I started making it when El started selling the book.....I can't remember how long ago that was. I used two blue prints but didn't know much about quilting and there's not enough contrast.....at least I don't think so. So my advice would be use whatever fabric you want.....just make sure there's enough contrast between the fabrics. It was a fun quilt to make!
