Re: Good Monday Morning
It's still dark here this morning and I wonder what I am doing up so flippin' early!! Oh yeh, that's right I have to go to work!! UUGGGHH. My boss changed my schedule so now on Mondays & Tuesdays I have to be to work at 8:30am instead of 10!! I have this fear of over sleeping and being late so I woke up a couple times in the night to make sure I didn't sleep too long!!
Man it's cold here again this morning----only 4 above! Guess it will be a while before I can put the winter coat away!
Hope y'all have a great day!

Morning all. School today, one thing about homeschooling my children are not thrilled with. The schools are out today for MLK day but we do school. I remind them that we finish the first week of June instead of the third and it helps........ a little! We will listen to his Mountain Top speech today. And on Presidents Day we do something about Lincoln or Washington. Fun.
I'm going to be cutting blues today for Shakespeare. I doubt if I'll get to sewing any more.
We are at 19 degrees here today, glad I have no place to go.

Good night Kadie. Sweet Dreams.
Mary - in the medical field I gotta go to work today too. DGS is off school and going to a scout Lego party this afternoon. Hope his ride shows up.
I did the dreaded slicing my finger with the cutter yesterday so having a hard time typing. I was cutting out a Batik quilt and the cutter somehow jumped the ruler right onto my finger. I thought it may need a stitch or two but didn't want to wait for hours in the ER for that to happen. I dressed it so I can't bend my finger so it will stay closed.
Found one of the strips I forgot to cut so going to go do that this morning. Have a good day all!

Good morning. Hope you all have avery nice day. I am going into the City to sit with my dear MIL while her DH has surgery this morning. She is 85 and I do not want her to be alone should it not go well and nobody else can/will go. She has 6 kids and he has 8. DH cannot leave the Rig so I volunteered. Got to get on the road. so will check back later. Stay warm, watch out for those rotary cutters, stay out of trouble and have a glorious day!

Re: Good Monday Morning
We need to rent a couple troop transport planes and get y'all out to southern California for some sunshine and a "stitch and bitch"!
We have a Girl Scout meeting today, but nothing else on the boards. I need to do some paperwork for da job...whoopee...
Need to run to the drugstore for some peroxide to clean our skull
It was still pretty stinky after soaking in the OxyClean, so I put it in peroxide last night and it fizzed 'way up...which means there is still some...uh...tissue hanging around. Hence the stink...eeewww! I am hoping the peroxide soaks and a day or two drying in the sunshine will do it. Then I can glue it together and put some clear acrylic on it to prevent chipping...and we will have quite the conversation piece, minus the aroma...
Hoping to sneak in a little quilting time before the morning vanishes! Gotta get my arse out of the chair first....

Good morning. CaroleJ - what skull???? I guess I'm going to have to go back and read yesterday's posts.
Maryq - I bet it's hard to get out of bed when it's so cold up there.
Momof6 - are you doing Shakespeare in all blues or are you using other colors, too?
WeSig - sorry you sliced your finger. You have reminded me that I have a klutz glove and I need to use it while cutting.
Grammiequilts - at this point in my life I would enjoy sleeping all winter long like a bear. Heck I would just enjoy NOT having to wake up to an alarm clock.
Cathy - you are a sweet daughter. Are you taking anything to work on while you are sitting around the hospitl. Be sure and wash your hands often and keep your hands away from your face. Use the sanitizer foam stuff they have in the hallways. Stay well!
G'nite Kadie - see you in the morning.
I'm at work - ho hum.
