Re: Harley Davidson Backpack
Did you make the whole thing? Where did you get the pattern?
We have a Harley and I think my husband would like something like that:-) ACTUALLY, my husband wants me to make him a quilt--I gotta get to Walmart and get me some of those sheets! LOL!!

Re: Harley Davidson Backpack
Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments and compliments on my work.
I actually don't know what she thought of it because she had a big party (not at home) and we left before the gifts were opened. I think she will like it.
I did not have a pattern for the bag that I made. I had a pattern for a "string backpack", no flap or adjustable straps, I just adapted what I had to the backpack that I wanted. That is one thing I can say that my mother taught me, is how to adapt patterns if you can't find what you want.
I had thought about selling them on my etsy shop but because it is a licensed logo I can't. I looked up licensing and apparently Harley Davidson is a real killer when it comes to protecting their logos use. Since this was for a gift and personal use it is acceptable.
edited for spelling errors.LOL

Wow! Without a pattern.....you do good! I have either a McCall's or a Simplicity pattern that comes with the backpack with the straps and a couple of purse patterns. This is very similar. Nice job!
