Yes, Cathy32078 and sadiedaisy1..it's me! We do this picture thing every year. But this year it was with a digital camera, so I'm able to share the picture.
Ashley really did love this quilt..she doesn't get too excited over ANYTHING, but she was really happy with this!
LOL! Maryq!!! Sunglasses! You're right, too! It's just as bright as it looks. Ashley's mom likes homespun type fabrics with very little contrast and she said, "It's BRIGHT" - LOL!
This quilt was "made up" - no pattern to follow and I used almost solely from my stash--the sashing was a problem, because the two blocks had very different greens and they needed to have a sashing that pulled the two greens together. I took the two blocks to my LQS and the owner helped find the perfect fabric and it worked!!
Thank you for all your compliments! You are all sweethearts!

Joanne, hey, nice to "see" you...I love your beautiful silvery hair! Wish I were going grey so nicely...if I ever get to mostly silver (rather than mostly dishwater brown!), I will leave it alone.
Great quilt! Green is my favorite color, too. I love piano key borders; they are a lot of extra work, but well worth it for the great look they give.

WOW!! I'm not sure how I missed this but I'm glad I found it. It's fabulous! I LOVE lime green, it's my fav and the way you've set it in with the purple is just beautiful. That is a quilt that will be treasured long after we are all gone, great job! Amie
