friendship block

Post by kho »

I want to try a 6 inch (finished) friendship block. I can't figure out what size to make the squares. Talk about a brain freeze. Any suggestions?? Thanks. Sandy, still thinking.

this is the type of thing I wish someone would write a book about... how to enlarge and shrink blocks so they come out right..

and how to have different size blocks make up a row....

I am brain dead when it comes to these things... ugh

Thank you little bit-I was thinking 2 1/2 but wasn't sure.It seems easy enough, but sometimes my brain just freezes.

I have a little book called 'Quilter's Reference Tool' from C&T publishing. It's a great book for all kinds of measurements and techniques that you may have known once but forgot.
