ZIPPETY-DOO-DAH!!! More pillowcases have arrived!
Sandy(kho)- your 19 pillowcases (along with Jeannine's five and Judy's two) added TWENTY-SIX more pillowcases to our total! I just know the recovering soldiers are going to love your fabric selections! The wildlife fabrics (swimming fish, resting mallards, and majestic eagles) will add some much needed serenity to these soldiers' lives. The wild horses galloping in the snow is an awesome fabric! I am sure there will be some football fanatics that will absolutely love the print filled with footballs and sports shoes! The hot air balloon fabric is relaxing and colorful. The florals you selected are calming also. All-in-all your fabric selections are absolutely WONDERFUL! Jeannine's fabrics are perfect too: deer, horses, nautical, flowery meadow, and Southwestern! Judy's blue star print and Chevrolet pillowcases will be popular also! A HUGE round of hugs goes out to you "Three Musketeers" for your contributions to this pillowcase project!
Evie- I received your 10 pillowcases and enjoyed looking at the variety of fabrics you had used! The motorcycle print looked PERFECT with the bandana cuff! I loved the fabric that had American symbols on it (Statue of Liberty, Capital, flag, eagle, etc) and know that these pillowcases will be WELL received by our recovering soldiers! What a clever idea to use a sheep print for a pillowcase: the individual can just count the sheep on the pillowcase to help him/her get to sleep!!!
The Halloween fabric is such a fun print! Thanks so much for donating to this project, Evie! You have a BIG heart!
***A BIG PAT ON THE BACK TO ALL MY WONDERFUL HELPERS!! THIS PROJECT WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU! YOU ARE THE "BEST OF THE BEST"!!!!***

By the way- I do have SEVERAL pillowcases sewn up also, but I am not adding My number into the total...yet! I will add my pillowcases to the group total when the deadline gets closer! You can call my contribution 'the ace up the sleeve' for this project! *wink, wink*
I am sure we will get over TWO HUNDRED pillowcases...and then some!
Keep these pillowcases coming, ladies (and gentlemen)! The hospital has a thousand beds with an average of 800 beds filled with recovering soldiers. Let's show our support this year and see if we can reach the THREE HUNDRED mark by Veteran's Day!!!!!!

Hip-Hip-Hooray...Sharon's 10 pillowcases arrived! What a fun mixture of fabrics: patriotic stars, Christmas stars, Christmas trees, NFL football team logos, and the gorgeous florals (love the pansies)! It was fun looking through your wide variety of fabrics! What cheerful colors! I know there will be 10 very happy soldiers thanks to you, Sharon! KUDOS to you for a job well done! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Hugs~Marcia

I'm glad they got there, Marcia. I figured maybe the florals and some of the others might remind them of home....or what's waiting for them at home. @:)
