The month is 1/2 over and I have not even touched my list yet! This is very discouraging. This baby quilt has taken precedence over almost everything. I needed to put a Star of David on the back, and couldn't quite figure it out until this morning. Now I just need to get it under bat tomorrow and quilt it. It's due on Friday evening.
Next week, DH is out of town for the week, so sewing is my first priority. Thanks, just needed to vent a little.

Update on my goals for January:
1. Sew up pillowcases for soliders and two to give to family members- finished the two for family members, two for the platoon, and have made 18 for the wounded soldiers in the hospital..still not sure if I'm done yet since I have some fabric crying out to me! LOL
2. Add the borders to my Kansas Troubles quilt
3. Start sewing my brite "Crumb Chaos" blocks into a quilt
4. Decide on a pattern for my pink & brown noodles (from a QIAD swap)- Yep, decided on the pattern; but will not start it till I have the borders on my Kansas Troubles quilt!
5. And- last but not least- use fabrics from my stash!- WOOHOO! I haven't purchased any fabric yet!
(Repeat after me: "I will not buy any fabric in January!")

Additional projects that were added to my January project list:
6. Make several blocks for ARK projects- all are done & mailed
7. Cut "sweets" fabric for candy jar swap- two sets cut & in the mail

Finally finished the lone star sweatshirt for my friend. Gave it to her Friday night at dinner. Then I quilted a baby quilt for my manager. It goes in the mail tomorrow.

Now I'm quilting my version of the flying geese mystery. As far as Mom's quilt goes, I can't get it done by her birthday, so I haven't started it so I won't stress over not getting it done.

After I finish the quilt I'm working on, I need to piece a couple of blocks from the Kansas Sprit books for my LQS. We are doing it as a BOM and I'm making the samples.
