Gift quilts

I have finished the 2 gift quilts.

The pattern for the first one is called "Sticks and Stones" by Marti Michell, American Patchwork & Quilting , Aug. 1993, Issue No. 3. I changed the color values around. I love the way the pattern looks circular without curves. I call this one "Through the Garden Lattice".

El has one that uses the same basic bock, but with a simpler color layout.

The first one is really pretty! Love the fabrics! The sailboat one is a fun quilt and looks great! I love how you did the back. I need to get a little more creative with my backings. Thanks for sharing!

The first one is a knock-out! So pretty. The boat one is cute. Great job. I'm sure the recipients will be pleased.
