Those are really cute...where did you get the oil cloth from? and was that a Martha Stewart pattern?

Carolyn, Those are really nice! What perfect gifts they will be. Are they held closed with Velcro?

I got the first pattern at a shop hop. They had little kits for $4 and I bought one. They were left over from a make&take the shop had had in Nov. Quilter7 bought a kit too. Here is the pattern they gave us.

Then I started making modifications and looked at Martha Stewart her's is almost identical. The dimensions on the 1st were a little off. I have been cutting the main piece about 8x30 and the sides 5x12.5 I have adjusted based on the fabric. I am closing them with velcro and will add some of the ones with handles tonight.

I found a huge selection of Oil Cloth at a local store (M&L) for $6.95 a yd. I bought 1/2 lengths because the fabric is 60" wide and have been cranking out with mix and match cloth [a LQS is selling the same oil cloth for 412.95, on-line it is $6.95 most places]

next project...sandwich bags, I saw them somewhere they are the size of a ziplock bag, and closed with a flap and Velcro :) so...I am going to try those I thought I would use clear vinyl on one side and oil cloth on the other.
