The cards that I am receiving have been a true blessing. Our holidays are going to be much dimmer than usual due to the unexpected death of my brother, who lived in a local group home. (The only way to truly explain this is that my sis and I have always been told to care for him. When he died so quickly, we feel like we have let everyone down. It is like using our own child.) Your cards have helped me to remember that this is the season of love and light and you have given it to us.

Thanks,
Diana

*Smile*

I have never ever in the past 20 years received this many Christmas cards. I Love the letters, hand written notes in the cards, and the pictures that many of you included. Kadie Roo, you KNOW I am a bird Lover, Jeff was touched by the calendar that you send me. He knows how that made my eyes sparkle.

We are not celebrating Christmas this year. Yup we're skipping Christmas. Jeff and I just don't have the energy to bring down the decorations, plus we're not going anywhere or have anyone visiting us here at home.

What I will do is have Jeff help me string ribbon across one wall to hang ALL 'our' cards up on.

Our children and us have decided we'll do a family day somewhere around February to make up for it. Mainly to keep them getting infected by me.

That is the same reason I have not send any cards/leters to any of you.

Once again, I thank ALL of you for brightening my days with all these cards+.
