last project for '08

Finished this up and now it's time to put the sewing machine away and clean the house for christmas. Yes the picture is sideways, but the quilt is upright.

Wow! You've done a great job with the color/fabric selection! It's subtle but it's got really good dimension...I love it Karlene!

Thanks all - there is no name - it was inspired by Bricks and Stepping Stones but I sketched out my own version and then I must have put my brain on 'park' because I made more mistakes and miscalculations as I cut this out - and it was supposed to be a simple quilt! So the end project is very different than I even planned, but no one other than my quilting friends will know that!

WoW that is ONE beautifull quilt.

I got very 'ugly' today, because instead of sewing and quilting, I ended up cleaning the down stairs of our house, and I MEAN cleaning. Walls, window sills, base boards, cup boards, dusting, mopping...etc.....

I can't wait until I take time to beautify myself again with leaving the cleaning UN-done and staying pretty with just quilting and sewing.

Thanks for sharing your Quilt with us, it is a real inspiration for me to get back to IT.

WOW - beautiful. What great colors. You did a wonderful job - you shouldn't tell anyone there are mistakes - I would never have guessed there was a mistake in this lovely creation.
