Hello, it is me step out in a leap of faith and with you girls helping me. I joined a block of the month thing at my quilting store and I am stuck!!! Need help. It has 3 different materials... print 1 says 2 2"x 22 strips got that then subcut (A) 16 - 2"x2" sq got that then it says cut (B) 31/2 x 3 1/2 squares is that a different piece to cut? Cause the 2 x22 inch strips sure don't measure 3 1/2 " oh my can u help please? Jan

Jan, sounds to me like you need a new piece to cut the 3 1/2" squares. You can cut a 3 1/2" strip, then cut that into the squares.

Thank u Joanne for explaining it to me. So it means use same material only cut a new piece which is 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 right? thanks. I'm trying to step out and learn. thank u again for helping me

You're very welcome! How many 3 1/2" squares do you need? Just read the directions carefully--I really have to be careful with directions!
