Mystery sampler sew-a-long - quilt finished

Post by DouceFleur1 » Sat Nov 29, 2008 8:20 am

Hello everyone!

Yesterday I've finished to assemble this quilt. The blocks are from the mystery sampler sew-a-long. I've added a plain dark green border and had tied the quilt. I'm giving it to my Mom for Christmas. :-)

That is a way cool quilt! I like all the different takes on the pinwheels.

Denise,

It's awesome. I keep staring at the pinwheels and they seem like they're spinning:)

This is very nice!

I like that you stayed with just two or three colors throughout. Mine is like a hodge-podge of colors and patterns. I'll probably use mine for totes since they don't really match. This next sampler, I've chosen 3 or 4 fabrics, all the same colors to use. Hopefully then it will turn out like yours.
Have Fun,

Denise, that is great. Mine isn't going to look nearly as good, but it is for me so I'll be happy just to have it finished.
