Well I made it through the mad house at work today, caught up on all that is happening here, and now I am going to get my pj's on and go relax for a bit before warming up leftovers for supper.

just got home from a looooooooong day at work, it was crazy till about 3:00 & then things finally quieted down. I'm hoping to get quite a bit of sewing done this weekend and finish at least two totes. I might get the borders sewn on a bc quilt & off to Susanna.

I desided that my kids sunday school teachers would like a small wall hanging and so since it was Christmas I made a friendship star out of gold on a blue background with some Christmas fabric for a border.
I just HATE makeing HST cause I can never get them perfect and I am a big baby about things not being just so.

CArin - have you tried doing HST the QIAD 'grid' method? They come out slightly oversized, so you can trim them to be 'perfect'!

Also, do you have the QIAD Triangle Square-up Ruler? That helps a lot.

I haven't tried the grid method(how is it done? Which book is it in?) and it sounds like I need another ruler!
Is it called the triangle square up ruler? I have to add it to my wish list for DH!
