GOOD MORNING ALL ON NOVEMBER 22

I am back from my vacation and it was very nice The Caribbean was very warm but on wednesday evening we hit a bit of a tropical depression and all thru thursday the winds were ar about 45 miles per hr and the seas were at about 30 feet I would say at that point we were rocking and rolling but we did arrive safely in port friday morning.
I can't wait to get back to my sewing I thought I heard my sewing machine whimper when I passed by.
I am all ready to start my new project.
I missed everyone. I missed my dear sis fabricgirl the most.

Glad you had a safe trip!! I know what you mean about being anxious to get back to quilting-- I start going through withdrawls if I can't get to my machine for a few days:)

Beverly you said it right now that the cold is here we wish we were back in the warm months well Im glad that my sister is back from vacation because I missed her alot I finished my first tossed nine patch and it realy came out nice now I have to start makeing binding for 4 quilts that should be comming back to me this week so thats what I will be up too today I hope everyone has a productive day and the most important thing is to stay warm and if you are where it's warm then stay cool.

Good Morning all...It is in the 20s here in SE Mich...but beautiful sun is shinning. I am putting lights outside today and tomorrow...when I get cold I come in and sew for awhile....DH has gone to a woodworkers show(like a quilt show for guys)with DBIL....so I can do what ever I choose today....hope every one has a fun day.....Dee I am glad you are home safe and had a nice time.

It is foggy and about 40 degrees here... I plan to sew today...

Hey y'all!
Still grappling with this awful cold, not getting much o' nuthin' done around here. My sewing machine is whimpering at me and my sewing area is a mess. Maybe once I get my motor running I can do a tidy-up.

Good Morning from Sunny but COLD Minnesota!!! Temp here is about 24--but at least that's ABOVE 0!! Woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground!

Am having the first of many cups of coffee, waiting for DD to get home from boyfriends house then she has plans for us to "kick butt" and move stuff around, finish unpacking her stuff and find places to store stuff she doesn't need for now. In between what she has in mind for the day I AM going to get some sewing done. I need to make 1 more stocking for work--made 16 for co-workers, but forgot to make one for ME!! Then I need to do a recon on my sewing room and just get it cleaned up and organized and find all the projects I'm still wanting to do before Christmas! I too, am going through withdrawls from not being able to sew for while!

Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend... will stop by later on and see what everybody is up to!

Happy Saturday! It should be a little warmer here, maybe 60's and already sunny. Nice break from the 30's for sure. I don't know if I will get to sew todagy...I have to clean out my sewing room from all the piles of stuff, and at the same time I have to monitor my DH cleaning the garage. Lots of work to do today.

I really want to try the tossed 9patch tho, might need to take a cutting break.
