Looking for a quilt block pattern
I am looking for the name of a quilt that Eleanor did on our PBS station. It consisted of an hour glass shape and a pinwheel style shape. Loved the pattern, but didn't catch the name.

Hi nettienana. Look up at the top of the page here where it says Download Free Pattern. Click on that and scroll through the free patterns and see if one of those might be what you are looking for. Hopefully you will find what you are looking for. If it isn't one of those, come back & tell us & I will look through some of my books.

Is it the Tennesee Waltz? This pic isn't great but here is the link: http://www.quiltinaday.com/shoponline/b ... =1625&pg=4
If it isn't the one, maybe you are watching El's newest series with her 'Victory Quilts' book. This past week it showed Army star & Hope of Hartford' blocks. Most of these blocks are done in Red, White and Blue. The Army Star was done in browns/greens.
You also can go on the quilt video sites like Quilters TV or brightcove & find them.
Good luck on your search,
Sharon V.

I'm thinking it's the Gadabout quilt she saw. If it is, it's in the Still Stripping book.
I did a google search and on the top row is a picture of a Gadabout quilt:

Here's one that Jameswife made:

Thanks for the information. It is the "Gababout" quilt. Now, how can I get the pattern?

You will have to buy the Still Stripping Book of Eleanors or see if your Library has it. The Books & DVD Combo's here on the QIAD site is a great deal. I just looked and the book alone is on sale for $20.96. A good deal!

Welcome, Susie4. I've not heard of it, but probably someone else has.
Keep checking back here.
