I would love to have the pattern for the ornaments! My Christmas gifts to family and friends always includes at least one handmade ornament. Can you post them?

Hello everybody! Thanks for not forgetting me – and calico, thank you for your kind posting my pictures again! I am afraid I do not know of any link with a tutorial for these decorations (I did try hard but failed to find any). I am sure they are in some books which, unfortunately, I do not have. But here is some basic information about the technique and I believe you can manage if you decide to try!
The „TRIANGLE“ ornament:
Cut two 60° triangles (dark and light prints) – any size, mine were cut 6 1/2˝- stitch them together wrong sides out, leave an opening, turn them and press. Find the middle point (by turning the sides – geometry, lol...) and turn and pull and stitch the triangle points to the middle. Press lightly. Then turn the work and do the same from the back side, this time pulling and stitching together the three points in the middle of the three (not folded) edges. Adjust the folds, press lightly again and embellish with a pearl button.
The PINEAPPLE BELL: (it is paperpieced))
Fold a paper and draw ½ the desired bell shape (mine was about 5˝high and 4 ½˝ wide finished size) with pointed „wings“ (sides). Cut out to get the bell pattern. Draw ½˝ pineapple stripes with wedges on the paper. Paperpiece the front bell pannel (having cut stripes 1˝ wide). Remove paper. Cut the bell´s back of solid fabric. Reinforce both and sew together. Copy the lower edge (outline) of the bell pattern and cut two pieces of fabric to create the bell „bottom“. Sew the straight parts of these pieces together leaving an opening in the middle. Then join the bell and the round edges of this bottom using a 1/8˝seam. Bind this seam with contrasting colour (1/4˝ seam). Fill the bell with batting remannts and close the opening by hand. Attach a jingle, pulling the thread to the very top of the bell fixing it there – the belly of the bell will stay inside.
The HUNGRY BELL WITH DOUBLE SIDES:
Draw ½ bell shape with round „wings“ (sides). Mine were approx. 4˝high and 2 ¼˝ wide). Use this ½ bell shape as a pattern (adding ¼ ˝seam allowances when cutting). Cut 6 dark and 6 light parts keeping in mind that one group of these has to be REVERSE. Sew the light and dark pairs together, leaving an opening for turning them. Turn them, press and stuff with batting (they devour quite a lot) and close the opening. Stitch (join) two and two together at top and bottom by hand (yielding three pairs). Take a narrow ribbon and tie the parts tightly together both at top and bottom (some people stitch them together by hand but this is beyond my imagination) using the ribbon to make a bow on top and attach a pearl, a button or a jingle. You can make little CHRISTMAS TREES in this way but I have noticed they have four (not six) „sides“ only.
I will be happy to answer any questions you might have!
GOOD LUCK!
