We only had 4 kids. It's so sad. Halloween isn't what it used to be.

Zfc, We used to live in a neighborhood where the houses were close together and we would cook hotdogs and Hamburgers, baked beans, roast marshmallows and have a great time while the kids would gather their candy. Neighbors would stop and talk and eat and drink and we had a great time. Our houses here are too far apart and things just aren't as safe as they used to be in old neighborhood.
It is a shame.

That came out wrong....we live in a safe neigborhood now too but where we used to live is not like it was when we lived there 20 years ago.

Peach you asked what I have been up to....Physical exam. Mammo with diagnostic mammo and then ultrasound. Also more dental work. Bone splintered where tooth was pulled back in the spring and it was pressing on a nerve so I had to have that piece of bone drilled off and while he was at it...he did another crown. I am not sure that I have many of my real teeth anymore....hmmmmm. I was in such pain last weekend...it was like a fractured jaw bone throbbing and the pain meds didn't touch it so I have had a rough couple of weeks. They called today and said the crown was in and I could come in and said "NO" I just couldn't take a chance of two terrible weekends in a row. Sorry to complain.

Sue, my back is feeling so much better, thanks for asking! Last weekend I caught a cold/stomach bug and today started feeling good again, finally. Glad to see that behind me!

Lori, love your pic! I know, I remember when kids would come by trick-or-treating by the carloads, wave after wave of all ages. Guess I'm showing my age here! LOL! My DS and DIL took the grandmonkey out tonight, they said she was having a blast. Tomorrow they're coming over for dinner and she'll tell me all about it and ride her pink scooter. But, I'm not getting on the John Deere this time, it's too chilly for me!

Sue, bless your heart! Man, you've had a devil of a time! Are you feeling better now? I don't blame you, I wouldn't want to go back in right now either, that crown can WAIT on you! I worked as an RDA for years and I tell you, since then I've been on the other side of the chair a lot and it's a whole different ballgame when you're in the chair!

ZFC,
Do you know if Peach has managed to break into that fabric warehouse down the road from her yet? My money is on her....I bet she does it and I want to know what they have too. There is one on the internet that is just outside of Nashville and I have wanted to go there ever since I saw the pictures on the computer. I shared it with SIL, nanjam62, and we haven't figured out how to talk our way in there but we haven't given up yet.

ROFLOL, Sue! No, I haven't managed to break into it yet, but it's high on my priority list! I had to carve a pumpkin today and that threw me off schedule! LOL!
