Looks like things are a little slow tonight.....everyone must be out getting goodies! We had one little one stop over and it was when DH was home & I wasn't! Had a really fun day at work, took lots of group pictures, I'll post it as soon as I get a copy.........I left my camera at home
I have to put a rod-pocket hanger on the auto-
graph quilt this weekend and deliver it on Monday. And it's only 7 days till the event, I am so excited. May actually get to meet one or two of the players. I'm headed shopping tomorrow after work to get something a little dressy & of course, new shoes also. DH has been grumbling about getting all dressed up, so tonight I invited a good friend & she is thrilled. It's been ages since we've had a girls night out & will be so nice to catch up.

Well I sat on the porch and we had about half as many TT's as normal. I am now at the point that when I get one I give them a handful.

Hi Everyone!
I sure hope everyone else had Trick-or-Treaters! I really enjoy seeing the children in costumes, however we did not have a single one tonight!! I feel like Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin. Every year I turn on the lights, put out the candy, and wait. Very few children come down the hill to see us. It is so sad!!
Well there has been some good news today at our house. The DSL line for the Internet was repaired and everything is working again! I sure did get a lot of sewing done today while waiting. The line hasn't worked at all this whole week and last week only intermittently. I managed to sew all of the HST and trim 1/3 of them this week for a Birds of the Air quilt. I feel so accomplished!

Hi Carol. Sounds like you've had a busy week. What colors did you use for you birds in the air?

Re: Happy Halloween Sew-In!
congrats, Quilter7 on getting your DSL up-n-running! I've got a Birds in the Air quilt that's been waiting on me to finish it for, well, I'm not going to admit how long! Pretty aren't they? Can't wait to see a pic of yours!
We did not get even one trick-or-treater! It's almost 11:00 here and the bowl of candy is full! LOL! Guess I'll be sugared-up all weekend now.
I have to laugh about Quilter7 talking about everything she's accomplished because all I did today was carve my pumpkin and posted the pics! ROFLOL! What a slug I am! LOL!

Yea...I'm just starting to do my cutting. I wanted to get at least 2 quilts cut out today. Instead I cleaned house and then of course I needed a nap. Where does the time go. lol
