My BIL said it wasn't that difficult to make. One side removes so you can get into it and the glass then lifts off. We have a great deal of fun decorating it for holidays, birthdays and seasons. Right now I have a green quilt top under it

Alina, good grief girl, you are FAST! Got those borders pieced and on in record time...
I actually like the borders from your original design, so will be looking for some blue and yellow for mine...unless I am in the fabric store and something else grabs me.

CarolJ... I liked the borders on the original drawing also... but I am on fabric restriction... so I can't buy any new stuff right now... and I didn't have enough of the blue and yellow in my stash! Remember I have had an unfair advantage since all the blocks were here first... I have been piecing them together as they came in... but I did get the borders done last night and this afternoon... I can't wait to snuggle down under it!!!
Hugs!

Wow! Great table - I want one! LOL
Alina, how did you make the border? I've seen the Pioneer Braid, but your's has that added color inbetween each braid. I'm on fabric restriction, too, so was trying to think of a scrappy design.... Something will pop into my head - probably at 2AM! ROFLOL

Deanne... I was happy with the way the border came out... that was the first time I did that... I used the idea from quilters cache... I cut my main pieces 6.5"x2.5" and the thin ones between 6.5"x1" I just alternated the wide ones and the thin ones... went together really really fast! *Forgot the sides of the braid are also 1" strips...

All my blocks flew home today!! They are all so pretty. This is going to be fun to put together and I will think of all of you when I look at it. Special Thanks to "T" for the little surprise. I just love all the bright colors everybody used. Thanks to you all and especially to my DDIL, Alina, for hosting this. Great job running this swap!!
