I will be more than happy to to get 2 short sheeted blocks back if Joann can't do them.. OR if she can get at least a few done, i would still be good with making my own... What I can't understand is did Michelle have none done? I mean, this swap is due in two weeks. I would think she would have at least started them

I am fine with making my own tree...and if someone needs help making one because they are terrified of paper piecing, I can make an extra or two.
Are the trees paper pieced? Love that technique!

Well guys, I hate to let you all down but I took everything to the sewing room and did fine until I got to the tree itself. Unless I paperpieced it (which I have never done!)I'd never get it done. The pattern for rotary cutting required angles in degrees (!) and the templates would be really time consuming.
I am so sorry! If there was more time, I'm sure I could work it out, but there just isn't enough time so I won't be able to help.
I feel really bad, because I offered to be a sub and when you all need me I let you all down...

No worries Joanne... you tried...
Ok looks like we will be making our own tree and if anyone needs help a few of us can help those gals out! There really isn't enough time to get 18 done before the time they need to be sent out by! I can email everyone the patterns for the tree tomorrow... and we can see where we are at! Things happen... hang in there we will get through it!

I love to paperpiece, the schoolhouses are paperpieced so if someone needs me to do theirs let me know.
Alina would you mind if I only send you 17 school houses? I have 16 completely done and only need to add the sky to number 17 and then
I AM DONE

Please send me the directions for the tree. I am willing to try making my own, I know if I have a problem someone will tell me what I need to know.
You are all great, we will get through what ever arises.
The geese will be on the way tomorrow - all the orange and 2 sets of blue. I forgot the PO was closed today....the package is sitting next to the door!
