Lovely work, Flo, you're very organised to be making your Christmas stuff already.
I had to reply because I've actually been in Waterford, Maine! And I'm from Ireland! I had one of those happy happy days that I will always remember in Waterford. I was on holidays with my DH and DS last year in Maine. We were staying in Calais for a week, Steuben for another and the final week in Naples. I wasn't too crazy about Naples itself but I went left DH and DS alone one of the days and drove to Waterford to go to a quilt shop owned by a lovely English lady. It was the most beautiful day, I was driving a gorgeous car (a Lincoln Towncar, my husband's little treat to himself!) and passing the most beautiful lakes. And just to make the moment even more perfect, the satellite radio system in the car started playing the Ryan Tubridy Show, my favourite radio show from an Irish radio channel. I think that day will go down in my memory as one of the happiest days of my life. Perfect scenery, perfect weather, lovely car, Ryan Tubridy... and all this on the way to a quilt shop. Bliss...

Flo, these worked up real pretty!

I am afraid to look at my Christmas fabric stash...that's kind of a weakness of mine, I hate to pass on something I really like because I know it won't be available the next year! I have 3-4 yards of a dark cream background with the prettiest pointsettia print; have no idea when I will get to it, but I am glad I bought it when I did! I absolutely fell in love with it.
