Oh, Sue arrived at my house today. I will take her to work with me tomorrow, to the craft show, to Copia (big wine place here in the Napa Valley, and a few more places. We will have lots of fun.

Re: picture postcards from Sunbonnet Sue

Well, we started the day off to work. Had a few things to catch up on. Stopped on our way into the building and took a little sit down rest on the bench.

After work, we stopped by the "Spiritual Garden". There are 6 06 7 of them in and around the Napa Valley. In a magazine article a few months ago, ours made the cover shot.

Then we moved on to Copia, which is a world known place for Wine, food the arts, etc.

Contained within Copia, is Julia's Kitchen, as in Julia Childs. She spendt a lot of time here.

Then we went back to Vallejo. Oops, all of the above is in Napa where Valere works. Stopped by the Waterfront/Marina.

Stopped to peek at the USS Tripoli which will be here until after the Holidays.

Went and looked at the Ferry which takes you to San Francisco. If we had more time we could have gone to see SFQuilter.

And finally we to view the sign for the ferry. The buildings you see on the other side of the water is the old Mare Island Navy Military Base. It was built sometime back in the 1800's and was closed when they started closing many of the bases. My Grandfather on my mother's side was stationed here in the early 1920's. Being a long day, we decided to come home and take a break. Will go see some more sights tomorrow, before moving on.
(Sure hope this works!)
