Thank you all so much. I'm quilting another top right now and that will make 3 full-size quilts from my scraps and yet there are still a lot left! I wonder if they are like the flour and oil in the Bible story that just never seem to get used up! Ha! This one is going to a young mom who ruptured her colon this summer in an accident. She is doing well, but still has a lot of healing ahead of her. I think it was good that the polar bear idea did not work out because I really like the pandas too. And the quilting is a little wonky because it was my 2nd try at FMQ and I free-handed it. I hoped to make it whimsical.

What a darling quilt! I know you mean, our quilts do seem to take on a life of their own, don't they! I know when I just do my own thing, with no real pattern, it happens everytime, then even we, are surprised with the outcome. Turned out really nice though, love it, great job, & the pandas are darling on it!
