Thanks, Quilter7! I had only done it once before, and then only a single photo. I guess I goofed on one, but I'm happy that I got ANY on there!

I sure do appreciate Oasis/Linda's instructions - I followed them step by step. Always feels good to learn something new!!

Hi again!!!

Well, I went to eat lunch, and noticed Jane Eyre was on TV--- so I did some hand quilting, didn't go back to son's quilt yet... trying to decide if I should make it smaller-- it's 88" long (before any border!), and a version of the scrappy borgello I made recently.

Carin-- I can't imagine snow already!!!!!! Was thinking of baking this afternoon, but decided it's too hot-- don't want to warm the kitchen up too much, might have to turn on the air!!

ME how was the wedding?

I have been sewing most of the day. Finished the binding on the pink baby quilt. Then finished some coasters that I started yesterday. I put pictures of all this in the photo section. I have our granddaughter, Ava's heart quilt in the frames waiting for me. I have to keep it covered up with a sheet, because my cat, Callie, thinks it is her personal hammock. LOL We have had a lovely weekend, but it is starting to cloud up now. We are supposed to have rain and colder air moving in. I guess fall is really here. It has been in the 80's for the past few days. I love fall, but I'm not looking forward to winter. I can do without snow. Everyone have a good evening.

Cynthia.......the wedding was beautiful. Perfect weather & I took some scenery shots that I'm patiently (?????) waiting to load so I can post them. The attendants dresses were a beautiful shade of burnt orange/rust and of course, the bride was gorgeous. I'm going to head up in a couple of minutes and throw some scalloped potatoes & ham in the oven, might just make an apple crisp. I've got the game on, but not really paying much attention to it.

Just talked to DS about length of quilt. He said "good, it will cover my big feet"!! I am relieved... guess I stress easily. Talking about stress, guess I'll see how the Packers are doing:)

Went to church and stayed for PotLuck lunch afterwards. Watched Fox news and went to the land of "nod"...our son called and we talked to him awhile. Sewing is on my agenda for some of the week. Have a good week everyone.

Well, free time is over. DH is much better due to the antibiotics, is able to talk again and feels good enough to follow me around and pester me. He went into the office to see what had happened all week while he was out sick and brought back the dreaded "blue box" full of medical insurance billing. So I indulged this morning making a "Hungry Catepillar" quilt. Now it is on to the medical insurance--goodbye to sewing in the evenings. It was fun while it lasted. See you all sometime.

Hi all just checking back in... ended up taking Jake with me to Joanns and some errands... so it wasn't a totally free to be me day... LOL! But he was really good and it was nice to spend some Mom and son time...Got some wonderful fall leaf batik fabric for the back of my pumpkin quilt... now I need to get it sandwiched and quilted and bound by Tuesday... gak... why do I do this to myself! LOL! Well I better go get some steaks marinating for dinner... I left Erik at home with the baby all afternoon and he is a little bit on the grumpy side and looks to be needing some protein! He even did all the laundry! Yippee! I'll see you guys a bit later!

Cheers!

Ok, guess eating out was not an option! I heated up the homemade chicken noodle soup from the other day and fryed two hamburgers--DH found a BIG tomato in the garden!!! YEAH1 It was wonderful!

DONE WITH THE FABRIC from hell...all folded and put away--until tomorrow when I'll sew something! LOL...I'm glad to see the back of that mess! LOL! who knew!...

It's hot here..I really want a little Fall weather.

MoCrafter- whoo hoooo! We always get your weather in a day or two. We really need the rain here! It's too warm for early fall...85 deg.
My son was stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood before he retired and we got their weather the next day...more reliable than the weather man!! lol

I'm off to look at you alls (or is it "you'alls"?) pictures!
