A wall quilt and a table topper

I really don't have time to be starting new projects, but just can't resist.(grin) I made this one by taking a single 12 inch block, adding borders, then appliqueing leaves around the border. I fused the leaves on then used black DMC floss to do a primitive stitch around it. I think it turned out cute.

I took a charm pack of southwestern prints to make this little table topper for our daughter.

I would really like to get started hand quilting these, but I have 4 quilts for our grandkids to get handquilted before Christmas. (Sigh) Why do I wait till the last minute? I have had at least 2 of the quilts pieced for about 6 months now.

Very sweet....I am still one queen sized quilt behind and two small laps for christmas to go.....I work more now that Im retired.
