I didn't do a lot of sewing today, but did get Sunbonnet Sue's foot and skirt appliqued. Bonnet and arm tomorrow. @:) I also brought some pieces that are cut and ready to be sewn together for some houses. (I'm at the hospital with grandson and his wife)

My couch quilt is pinned and about 1/4 quilted. I will start again this as soon as I catch up here.

It is now 3/4 quilted. I am hoping to finish it so I can take it to Oklahoma next week and finish the binding.

I finished quilting this morning before work. I even got the binding sewn on so I can hand sew it next week in Oklahoma. I am pinning another couch quilt and I hope to take it with me too.

Good Thursday morning!!!

I have quilted some on my second couch quilt, I am hoping to take two to Okalhoma.

When I get these two finished they will be two finishes that I wouldn't have done with out this thread.

I got the second couch quilt done and the binding ready to be sewn down while in Olkahoma. I am now cutting 5 1/2 inch squares for another quilt I hope to finish with the help of this thread.

Thanks

Debbie

Last night I packed my quilt show tote bag and then cut a little more fabric for my Pink Lemonade quilt.

Good Saturday evening. I have all my sets of three sewn and pressed for a queen size Tossed Nine Patch. I am in the process of making the nine patch so I can get them pressed and recut, hopefully tonight.

Today I have been pretty down. I started on a quilt for my dd roommate who is moving back home. I am using the pattern that Calicopuzzle shared on the Pictures site, using all her pinks. I didn't have quite enough of the main floral to make 9 blocks, but had enough to make 8. It turned out pretty narrow, so I had to add sashings and borders. Still working on it, but at least I've got a pretty good start on it. Need to have it finished by next Friday.

Good Sunday evening. I got all the nine patches cut and some of them re-sewn. I had to work today, then church tonight, so I only got to work about 45 min. Hope more time tomorrow.

I got some blocks done for a tossed nine patch, and most of them are WRONG, so un-sewing for me!

Next morning:

I got them all ripped out and re-sewn and pressed. They are ready to set together when I get back from Okalhoma.

I want to get my current quilt project quilted, but I'm being smart. I need to practice my machine quilting first. I have two pieces pieced for a large pillow as a way to practice and make something useful. It took me days to decide on the fabric! It would have been quicker to have used one piece of fabric, but I thought that is would be helpful to have the pieces the same size as the pieces in the quilt even though I didn't repeat the pattern. Now to sandwich the layers and sew.
