Congrats Rosie on the 1st day. WOW! 5 yrs old & they aren't further progressed than that? How sad! I was amazed at how much my grands had to know to enter kindergarden. But? They went to preschool so they were well prepared.

Carolyn the Margarita's sound good. lol I think paper piecing might be a good idea.

Mary I didn't even know they had green painters tape. LOL I need to get out more. LOL

Jennie, how are you doing? Been missing you!

Cahty the green painter's tape is called frog tape. It is still fairly new on the market.

Thank You Mary. I have some painting to be done soon so I will have to try this tape. I really had never heard of it. I'll look for it the next time I go to Home Depot or Lowe's. Seems I am there once a week or so for something or the other. lol

Cathy Home Depot has it, that's where I work, and you are very welcome.

Well, my last load of laundry just finished, and I need to get myself to bed since I have to leave for work at 6:00 in the morning. I'll see everyone tomorrow after I get home. Have a great Saturday. Good night and God bless everyone.

Rosebud, why are you not suppose to press down the blue painter's tape? If I don't press it down good the paint gets up underneath it. I'll have to get frog tape the next time I paint.

Time I was in bed. It is 12:44 am here. My younger daughter was working on cleaning the apartment they just moved out of (they have moved in with us until their house is finished). I had our grandson most of the day until he went to bed. His mom gave him his supper while I worked on ours.

I don't even know what sewing is any more. I don't usually try to sew in the summer, because there is too much gardening to do. That is letting up, but things are still hectic with my father-in-law sick.

My sister-in-law spends most of the day with Dad at the hospital. She use to take the baby in the afternoon. I am starting to get use to working around his schedule.
