Very nice work. The quilt is beautiful! I am amazed that it only took you about a week to handquilt it. I need to get in gear, cause I have 4 quilts for the grandkids that need to be quilted before Christmas. (grin)

Ive been handquilting about 15 years. As I said, I dont draw on any fancy patterns or use stencils,,,most I do free hand or use masking tape and sew my lines alongside it.Sometimes I use things from around the house to draw around for patterns,,,and I dont pin.I lay the layers all out smooth and slip my hoop in under the center to anchor,then start quilting from the center out. Anyone can learn to quilt and you can get pretty fast at it. It just takes a lot of practice.A LOT!!! But its worth it.

Yes, I'm noocha on the other forum. My block is the top right hand side in the third picture. I loved making those blocks! You did such a fine job on the quilt. Thanks so much for letting us all see it.
